Autodeterminação ou explotação? O debate feminista sob a gestão por substituição

Resumo
No feminismo não existe uma postura unificada sob a gestação por substituição (GS). O desacordo feminista geralmente se traduz em um debate entre a defesa da autonomia e a proteção da exploração e a opressão. Esta fórmula, porem, obscurece o quadro comum feminista do debate, no qual limitar a opressão e promover a autonomia das mulheres deveriam se considerar objetivos compartidos. Vou avançar no debate analisando estes objetivos compartidos apelando à literatura contemporânea sobre autonomia pessoal e argumentando que os modelos de autonomia pressupostos por aqueles que defendem a GS como forma de autodeterminação dissimulam formas de opressão relevantes em contextos contemporâneos. Só adoptando uma concepção particular da autonomia é possível que as propostas feministas contrarias à GS podam verse como hostis à autonomia. Concluo que reflexionar e legislar sobre a GS precisa de modelos de autonomia sensíveis para distintas formas de opressão.
